The Netherlands will monitor the transfer and export of all military goods to Israel.
This includes so-called ‘dual-use’ goods which can have both civilian and military applications, according to Dutch ministers Reinette Klever (Foreign Trade) and Caspar Veldkamp (Foreign Affairs) in a letter to the House of Representatives on Monday.
The move is deemed "desirable in view of the security situation in Israel, the Palestinian Territories, and the broader region," the ministers stated.
Last year, a court ordered the Netherlands to halt the transit of components for the F-35 fighter jet from Woensdrecht due to concerns they might be used in violations of international humanitarian law in the Gaza Strip.
