Eurostar will be hiding several 'golden tickets' in three Belgian stations. Winners of the treasure hunt will receive first-class duo tickets to a destination of their choice.

The company behind international high-speed train service to and from Brussels is marking its 30th anniversary by hiding the tickets in Brussels-Midi, Antwerp-Central, and Liège-Guillemins terminals.

"To celebrate the anniversary in a big way and usher in the festive season, Eurostar is organising an exclusive ticket hunt," the company said.

The three stations will become the playground of the search for the much-coveted tickets on 14 December. A Eurostar spokesperson confirmed to The Brussels Times that the hunt will take place between 12:00 and 13:00.

The same number of 'golden tickets' will be hidden in each station, meaning people can find ten tickets in Brussels, Antwerp and Liège respectively. Specifically, the tickets will be hidden in the main hall and international departures area of Brussels-Midi station, the main hall (ground floor and platform 1) in Liège-Guillemins station and the main hall on the Astridplein side in Antwerp-Central station.

The finders of the 'golden tickets' will be offered a first-class ticket for two people. They can choose their destination from a list of 28 locations serviced by Eurostar, including London, Paris or Cologne.

"Throughout the day, clues to help participants find these precious tickets will be revealed via the Instagram accounts of the influencers for each city: @FranekLife, @AlexandraKoljaj and @Enderscholten, representing Liège, Brussels and Antwerp respectively," the Eurostar spokesperson said.

Uniformed Eurostar staff members will also be present at stations to offer clues to participants.

Found a ticket? Make sure to register it on the same day with the Eurostar crew at the station where you found the ticket! They will be recognisable by their uniform.

The prize trip can be booked between 6 January and 30 April 2025. Important: every participant can take only one ticket, to ensure everyone has a chance of winning.
