The heavy rainfall is disrupting the public transport network in Brussels, announced the capital's public transport operator STIB.

The most significant disturbances are on tram lines 7 and 25, with services suspended between Buyl in Ixelles and Meiser in Schaerbeek. Tram lines 7 and 62, running from Saint-Lambert to Heysel in Laeken, have also been interrupted.

Tram line 51 is also interrupted between Belgica in Molenbeek and Marguerite Duras in the City of Brussels.

Replacement bus services are being arranged to minimise the disruptions, according to STIB.
