The French start-up King Colis is selling these types of packages on Antwerp’s Meir until Saturday.

Customers do not know in advance what their "mystery package" contains.

According to King Colis, millions of packages are lost each year in the e-commerce chain. Incorrect addresses or damaged labels are common causes.

Typically, undelivered packages are destroyed by delivery companies, even after possible refunds.

The French start-up purchases these lost packages and resells them to customers. Customers pay by weight and only discover what they have bought after paying.

"Not knowing what you buy is part of the fun," says CEO Killian Denis. "It could be a hair straightener or a new pair of sneakers. Each package is a surprise."

This is King Colis’ first time in Belgium, and they will be at the Grand Bazar shopping centre in Antwerp until Saturday.
