A person was killed in a traffic accident on the Brussels Outer Ring Road last night, according to the federal police.
The accident happened shortly after 1:00 in the morning near the interchange at Strombeek-Bever. One car was involved in the accident.
A passenger from the vehicle got out and stepped onto the Outer Ring Road. He was hit by a lorry and died from his injuries at the scene.
The Outer Ring Road was closed to traffic for a while due to the accident.
