Latvian-Belgian co-production ‘Flow’ by Gints Zilbalodis won the French César Award for Best Animated Film in Paris on Friday evening.
The Latvian entry was co-produced by the Belgian production company Take Five, which contributed to both animation and sound post-production.
‘Flow’ has also been nominated for two Oscars.
The film beat out several contenders, including another Belgian co-production, the Franco-Belgian animated film ‘La plus précieuse des marchandises’ by Michel Hazanavicius.
