A lorry caught fire on the E42 motorway towards Mons on Tuesday morning, causing severe traffic disruptions.
Le Soir reported that the incident had occurred on the E42 motorway connecting Namur to Mons, at the section close to Wanfercée-Baulet.
The burning lorry is parked in an emergency lane but is causing severe traffic disruption as it is difficult for other vehicles to move past.
Police referred to the issue as a "dangerous situation".
