The 6th edition of the Brussels International Film Festival (BRIFF) will take place from 27 June to 5 July, with no fewer than 23 new films set to compete for various prizes, the organisers announced on Wednesday.
The festival will run for over a week and will feature a wide variety of films, both Belgian and international, as well as fictional films and documentaries.
This year's edition is set to open with the film Une Nuit which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this year.
The opening will be on 27 June at 22:00 in UGC De Brouckère's Grand Eldorado room.
The Brussels cinema will also host the festival's closing ceremony on 5 July, during which the winning films for the festival's prizes are set to be announced.
