The new edition of this unmissable event will put several districts in the spotlight with two routes - Royal and European - and will once again feature stunning, immersive, poetic and monumental works by artists from home and abroad. These routes will be punctuated by immersive and poetic monumental works by national and international artists.
This year marks a special edition of the beloved Bright Festival, as special attention will be paid to the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
'The European Constellation' by Belgium's very own magic monkey offers participants a magical walk through the magnificent Galerie de la Reine in the city centre in honour of the Belgian Presidency.
The unique, enchanting, ethereal and compelling work tells the story of the diversity of Europe, reflected in the colours of the 27 EU Member States, which come together and mingle before forming the stars of the EU.
What's new?
As well as the new installations located throughout the capital, a Kids Zone has been added to the festival which will be located on the Place d'Espagne/Spanjeplein, it will be open from Friday to Sunday from 5.30pm for the little ones accompanied by their parents. They will be able to discover interactive installations designed just for them by students of La Cambre.
And that's not all! On the occasion of the Belgian presidency of the Council of the European Union, part of the programme has been developed in collaboration with the cultural representations of EU Member States. As for clubbers, they certainly won't be outdone. The Disco Bright Party will be taking over the Ravenstein Gallery to keep the party going into the early hours.
