A standard second-class ticket on an SNCB train will cost nearly 3% more from 1 February 2025, the company announced in a press release on Friday. Other types of tickets will also be affected.

The price adjustments follow the consumer price index, in line with the Public Service Contract between SNCB and the Belgian State.

Second-class standard tickets, as well as reduced fares for beneficiaries of increased intervention, seniors, and youths, will increase by 2.91%. Subscriptions, including Standard, Flex, Part-time, and Student, will rise by 3.03%.

Non-regulated fare tickets, such as Weekend, Local Multi, Youth Multi, and Standard Multi tickets, as well as SNCB parking fees, will also see a 2.91% increase. The SNCB portion of non-regulated intermodal subscriptions, such as City Pass and Unlimited Subscriptions, will increase by 3.03%.

The "Youth Holidays" product for young people during school holidays, valid for one month, will now cost €39 compared to the current €35. The weekly version will rise to €19 euros, one euro more than the current price.

Bicycle supplements (€4) and domestic animal supplements (€3) will remain unchanged.
