Brussels will once again host the first European leg of the Premier Padel Circuit World Championship from 19 to 27 April 2025.
Organisers are expecting more than 70,000 visitors at Gare Maritime in Tour & Taxis and has announced a prize pool of €250,000.
An 18-carat gold racket, weighing 12 kilograms and valued at €50,000, will be given to any player who has won the tournament three times in five years. Previously, a player winning the tournament twice in three years received a bronze racket worth €30,000.
Over 70,000 visitors are expected, with 30,000 around the centre court. Last year, 60,000 people attended the prestigious padel tournament, and nearly 25,000 tickets were sold for the centre court. There are also 1,000 seats available at Court 2.
"Our goal is to broadcast our matches live on two national channels on Saturday and Sunday," added Vincent Laureyssens, the chairman of the organising committee.
