Customs authorities intercepted and seized 67 kilogrammes of cocaine in Antwerp Port on Wednesday.
The drug was found hidden inside the wall of a container at Quay 614, according to the Federal Public Service Finance. It has been confiscated and will be destroyed.
An investigation has been launched to determine the origin and importers of the cocaine.
Authorities will also examine whether there is a connection to several suspected drug runners apprehended in the port in recent days.
