The anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine will be marked by an event held in Brussels on Sunday, the non-profit organisation, Promote Ukraine, announced in a press release.
Just a day before the third anniversary, the event will serve as a "remembrance" and a "powerful call to action" to reaffirm the "unwavering commitment" to supporting Ukraine's ongoing fight against Russia, the non-profit wrote.
"Europe, once the continent of law, suddenly found itself on the playground of force. It didn't ask for it, but now it must play by those rules to survive and thrive," said the chair of Promote Ukraine, Marta Barandily.
Featuring artistic performances and speeches from activists and civic leaders, the event will be held on 23 February from 14:00 at Place de l'Albertine in Brussels.
"After 11 years of war in Ukraine, all other Europeans are slowly realising we were right from the very beginning: One for all, and all for one," Barandily added.
Promote Ukraine is a Brussels-based non-profit media platform, civil society and advocacy organisation. It voices and promotes the interests of the Ukrainian civil society through events, cooperation with activists, connecting experts, and advocating for Ukrainian interests to EU policymakers.
