The six universities of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation have all put in place measures to facilitate the integration of Ukrainian students into Belgium's university community. These seek to overcome obstacles such as the equivalence of diplomas and language.

Thirteen more are enrolled at the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), ten are at the Université de Mons (UMons) and one at the Université de Namur (UNamur).
A broad range of courses
Of the 26 Ukrainians at ULiège, three are following courses in philosophy and literature, ten in law, political science and criminology, two in science and one in applied science, to name a few. UCLouvain has Ukrainian students in its social sciences faculties, philosophy and literature, and architecture.
Louise Frère, a course convenor at the university explains that management has been working hard to provide “administrative support, housing, financial, psychological and educational assistance.”
