The Federal Police have put out a call for witnesses to the shooting that took place in the Anderlecht neighbourhood of Peterbos last week. A picture of the getaway car has been shared.
A shooting occurred in the Peterbos district of Anderlecht at around 04:00 on Friday 7 February. The body of a 54-year-old man was found in the hallway of block 14 of the large council estate. He was shot several times.
The Federal Police have now distributed a call for witnesses at the request of the examining magistrate. They are looking for anyone who witnessed the incident or saw anything suspicious. The police are also looking for information about the whereabouts of the getaway car.
"The suspects fled in a dark Volkswagen Caddy," the request read. It was found on Chaussée de Nivelles in Luttre, a borough of the Walloon Pont-à-Celles, that same morning.

This was the fourth shooting in the region in three days. All are believed to be drug-related, more specifically part of a turf war between two drug gangs.
