Police launch appeal for witnesses to fatal shooting near Clemenceau

The Federal Police issued an appeal for witnesses on Friday, at the request of a Brussels investigating judge, concerning the shooting that occurred at around 21:20 on 15 February at the entrance of Clemenceau metro station on Chaussée de Mons in Anderlecht, which resulted in one death.

According to the police, the suspect or suspects were travelling in a black Volkswagen ID.3.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information or footage related to the shooting or the area near Clemenceau metro station (from surveillance cameras, dashcams, doorbell cameras, or any other video recordings) is urged to contact investigators.

The police also mentioned that at least two individuals witnessed the incident but have not yet come forward. These witnesses are also encouraged to contact the authorities, and their confidentiality will be maintained.
