Another shooting took place in the Brussels municipality of Anderlecht on Saturday night.
Various media outlets reported the incident, and the Brussels public prosecutor’s office confirmed the news. At around 00:40, unknown perpetrators opened fire on a convenience store in De Fiennesstraat, between Baraplein and Clemenceauplein. No injuries were reported.
Police arrived in large numbers and cordoned off the area. Footage obtained by Belga shows officers aiming at and inspecting a vehicle, which was later allowed to continue its journey.
It is not yet clear if this shooting is connected to the other recent shootings in Anderlecht that resulted in two deaths.
