Two 19-year-old men were injured in a stabbing on Saturday evening in Sint-Niklaas, but their lives are not in danger, according to the East Flanders public prosecutor’s office.
The incident occurred around 18:00 on a public road during a dispute between two pedestrians—a man and a woman—and the occupants of a car. The male pedestrian brandished a knife and stabbed the two passengers multiple times.
The victims were taken to the hospital for treatment, but their injuries are not life-threatening.
The suspects fled the scene and are currently being actively sought by the authorities.
