Eurostar cancelled at least 30 trains on Saturday due to track closures near London.
The closures are in response to the flooding of tunnels in southern England, according to National Rail, the network operator. It warned that regular services will resume no earlier than 17:00 and that disruptions may continue until the end of the day.
"Flooding has occurred in both train tunnels near Ebbsfleet International, which means both tunnels are closed," the company said in a statement.
"No train can travel" between Saint Pancras International, the London departure and arrival point for Eurostar trains, and Ebbsfleet International, it added.
Eurostar also reported that several trains travelling from London to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam and vice versa have been cancelled. It encouraged passengers to "only travel if necessary".

However, when contacted by AFP, Eurostar did not confirm the cancellation of all services for the day.
Thousands of passengers were reportedly waiting at Saint Pancras station in London on Saturday morning, some sitting on their suitcases while others were on the floor, awaiting updates. Hundreds of passengers were also left stranded at Brussels-Midi station.
