Brussels YouTuber 'YaNike' poured a mixture of oil, water, withered leaves and dog faeces over a passenger on a STIB metro. The victim and the public transport company have since filed a complaint.
YaNike, a twenty-something Youtuber from Brussels, regularly performs public "pranks" in his videos. His channel includes videos of him throwing water balloons at strangers sitting on a park bench.
In his latest video he fills a bucket with a mixture of oil, water, dog faeces and withered leaves. He steps on a Brussels metro with the bucket, walks towards an unsuspecting stranger and pours the bucket out over him before quickly getting off the carriage. The footage was made last Saturday at the Beaulieu stop in Auderghem.
"We obviously cannot tolerate such acts towards our customers," STIB spokesperson An Van hamme told Bruzz. "And so we obviously also don't tolerate a video being made and then distributed. Our customers are being humiliated and that is unacceptable. Additionally, the person in question also soils the vehicle, which is also unacceptable."
STIB filed a complaint with the investigating judge and asked YouTube to take down the footage. The victim, a 19-year-old young man, also filed a complaint, the local zone police confirmed.
