Belgium's Red Flames have an opportunity to make history tonight at 21:00 if they defeat Italy and Iceland lose to France.
This year's UEFA European Women's Football Championship is Belgium's second major tournament appearance, with the first occurring in the previous edition of the Euros in 2017.
Last time around they were eliminated at the group stages but despite losing their grudge match against France on Thursday, the Red Flames still have a chance to qualify for the knockout round of an international tournament for the first time in their history.
However, their qualification hopes are no longer in their own hands, since Iceland is one point ahead of Belgium in the group standings.

That being said, Iceland have to face France, one of the tournament's heavy favourites, while Belgium have to play against Italy.
Belgium will advance to the quarter-finals if they obtain a better result against Italy than Iceland do in their match against France.

In any case, the male side's manager, Roberto Martinez, stated his belief the Red Flames will reach the quarter-finals in a press conference held on Sunday.
"I've seen (good) signs during the opening matches," he told journalists present. "Against France, who are five years ahead of us, we were competitive and physically stronger in the last half hour," he added.
The matches will be broadcast on the French-speaking Tipik and the Flemish channel Canvas.
