Virginia Giuffre, the American woman who accused British Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein of sexual abuse, claims to have only four days to live following a car accident that caused her kidney to fail.
On Sunday, the 41-year-old posted a photo on Instagram of herself on her hospital bed, her face covered in bruises. She described the accident, noting: “This year had the worst possible start to a new year, but I won’t bore anyone with the details.
"It’s important to know that when a school bus driver comes at you at 110 km/hr while we’re slowing down for a turn, it doesn’t matter what your car is made of – it might as well be a tin can.”
Giuffre further stated, “I have kidney failure; they have given me four days to live and transferred me to a specialised urology hospital.”
As a teenager named Virginia Roberts, Giuffre launched a case against Prince Andrew, alleging that he had abused her in 2001 when she was 17 years old. The alleged abuse occurred in the circles of wealthy businessman and sex offender Epstein, who committed suicide in a New York jail in 2019.
Prince Andrew reached a settlement with Giuffre in February 2022.
