The FPS Economy's Directorate General for Energy has stated that the price of diesel would rise by 9.6 cents from Saturday.
The maximum price of B7 diesel will cost €2.14 per litre, as reported by Belga News Agency. This represents a 9,6 cent wise from its earlier price.
After exceeding €2 per litre in April, these fresh numbers do nothing to dispel FPS Economy's belief that the price of diesel might reach €3 per litre by this summer.

These fuel prices are affected by changes in the prices of petroleum products on foreign markets. They were, among other things, driven up by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
