It was once an unloved suburban train station in southern Brussels. But the mayor of Uccle got together with the train company to pimp up Vivier d’Oie.
They brought in the street art collective Propaganza to decorate the concrete walls. A team of 25 artists worked over several weeks on a series of murals inspired by the Surrealist artist Margritte. The artists needed 2,000 spray cans to cover all the walls and stairways.
You now have something interesting to look at while you wait for a train.
