Supermarket chain Delhaize announced on Monday that it will no longer charge fees for e-commerce orders picked up in-store.

The company also announced that the cardboard boxes used for online orders will be replaced with sustainable reusable folding boxes for all e-commerce services.

Previously, customers had to pay between €2.95 and €4.95 for the 'collect service' unless their purchase was €150 or more, or if they bought the "products of the week."

However, from now on, there will be no fees for in-store pickups at Collect points.

Delhaize operates 119 Collect points across the country.
