Just Stop Oil announce end of shock protest actions

The environmental organisation Just Stop Oil have confirmed on Thursday that it would cease its disruptive actions by the end of April.

The climate group has for high-profile stunts like throwing soup on Van Gogh paintings.

Just Stop Oil stated that its initial demand to end oil and gas exploitation has now become UK Government policy, marking their campaign as one of the most successful acts of civil resistance in recent history.

The group confirmed that its efforts will continue in the courts, where legal proceedings are ongoing against its activists.
