One of Belgium's largest prisons is at the centre of an extraordinary sex scandal involving a dozen staff members, including a "nymphomaniac" whose own brother was serving time at the jail for murdering a gay man.
According to Sudinfo, staff at Lantin Prison, located on the outskirts of the city of Liège, regularly met up after work to engage in group sex. A jacuzzi owned by one employee, referred to only as "P", was a particularly favoured spot for the sessions, which reportedly involved drawing coloured bracelets at random to determine who would have sex with whom.
Apparently, however, the staff were frequently unable to resist having sex during work hours as well. One senior employee is reported to have lent his office regularly to a "nymphomaniac", a woman known only as "S", so that she could have sex with other people while on the job.
"From 06:00, she was letting it be known that if she didn't have sex, she wouldn't be able to work," an anonymous source told Sudinfo.
'We did not understand how she had been hired'
The source described staff members' confusion at how S was hired, given that her brother was also an inmate at the prison.
"This caused controversy among the staff because we did not understand, at the time, how this girl had been hired in Lantin while her brother was incarcerated, at the same time, for the murder of a homosexual," he said.
"She used to come to see him every day as a visitor, being very friendly with the families of the detainees in the waiting room," the source added.

"She was very arrogant and haughty with the agents who were watching the visiting room. Her admission to Lantin, at the time, was a thunderbolt, especially since, as a visitor for a year, she passed, overnight, to prison officer."
S's brother has since been transferred to Huy prison. S herself has been assigned to the women's ward of the prison to "to calm her sexual urges".
Conversely, P, the jacuzzi owner, has reportedly been banned from the entering the women's ward after it was discovered that he was having sex with a female inmate.
