Metro lines 2 and 6 were disrupted between Porte de Hal and Simonis on Monday morning but the issue has since been resolved.
A technical incident caused both lines to go down in this section just before 08:00, Bruzz reported.
Public transport operator STIB/MIVB deployed a team on-site to resolve the issue and the metro is now running again, a spokesperson confirmed to The Brussels Times.
