A record amount of up to €200 million is up for grabs in the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday.
As nobody won Tuesday’s €178 million, the jackpot is increasing to an unprecedented sum. Up until now, the highest amount ever to be won reached €190 million. Four players won this amount in the last ten years.

Recently, it was revealed that 43-year-old EuroMillions winner Steve Thompson honoured several promises, supporting causes such as his local cricket club and his son’s school, instead of spending all of the money.
At €120 million, Thompson's jackpot was lower than the highest sum ever to be won by a Belgian. That dates back to 2016, when a player pocketed €168,085,323.
