The CORE Festival, born from a collaboration between the Tomorrowland and Rock Werchter music festivals, will not be organised in Belgium in 2024 but is continuing its expansion into Latin America.
After being held in Mexico in 2023, a first Colombian edition of the event will take place on 11 and 12 May in the Jardín Botánico (Botanical Garden) of Medellín, the festival organisation announced Thursday.
The more than 20,000 festival-goers will be able to discover the new CORE stage, which was unveiled last Saturday during CORE Tulum. The Mexican edition of the Belgian festival – which took place for the first time in January 2023 – is being spread over two Saturdays this year: 13 and 20 January.
After Colombia, the new CORE stage will then be brought back to the Belgian city of Boom for use in the Tomorrowland festival in July.
