Two new coaches were announced for the seventh season of VTM's show The Voice Kids. Belgian actress and singer/songwriter Pommelien and Belgian singer Coely are excited to coach on the show next to Metejoor and Laura Tesoro.
The Voice Kids is a Belgian Dutch-speaking music talent show for children ages 8 to 14 pursuing a singing career. The show's first broadcast aired in 2014 on VTM.
Pommelien
The 22-year-old Pommelien Thijs has acted in numerous films and TV shows but is best known for her role in the musical TV series #LikeMe. When she was 19 she became the youngest Flemish singer to ever have a number 1 hit in Flanders and the Netherlands. This year, she won an award at the MIAs and is set to release a new album in June.

The singer has long been a fan of The Voice Kids and is impressed by the fantastic voices of the young Belgian singers on the show. Her experience in singing as a professional at a young age allows her to provide valuable advice and will make her a strong coach for this season. She will be looking for hard-working kids will unique voices.
Coely
Coely (29) is a Belgian hip-hop artist who has released a range of successful singles since the release of 'Different Waters' in 2018. She has taken home two MIA awards in the categories for 'Solo Female' and 'Urban'. The artist is known for her enthusiastic and lively performances.
Coely has been keeping up with the show for years and has long wanted to sit in one of the swivel chairs. She hopes to provide support and tools needed for the new artists to grow. With her experience in the music industry and signing her first record deal at the age of 17, she believes that she will be able to put herself in the shoes of young performers.
