The Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels will be transforming into a "playground for families" this weekend, as part of a series of family friendly Sundays throughout the year.
The first 'Bozar Sunday' will take place this Sunday (3 November), and will transform the location into an interactive space with activities for every generation, Bozar announced in a statement on Friday.
The aim is to turn the Palais into a "playground for families" on several Sundays throughout the year. The inaugural 'Bozar Sunday' coincides with the last day of the autumn holidays and intends to attract families with children to Brussels.
From 11:00, families can head to the Hall Horta for the 'Wauw Atelier' creative workshop, where children can freely express their creativity.
Various Bozar exhibitions suitable for families will also open from 10:00 on Sunday, including 'Love is Louder', 'Rotor. Tangled Matter', and 'Hans/Jean Arp & Sophie Taeuber-Arp'.
The Bozar Arcade, highlighting human emotion through video games, will also be accessible to both parents and children.
Additionally, families can visit the Henry Le Boeuf Hall from 15:00, where Bozar will present a cine-concert 'Nanook of the North', with musical accompaniment by Anne Paceo.
The first 'Bozar Sunday' is this Sunday, with subsequent events scheduled for 23 February, 18 May and 8 June. The full programme is available on the Bozar website.
