German authorities have been conducting intensive searches since Tuesday for Pavlos, a six-year-old boy who has gone missing in Weilburg, Hesse.
So far, no trace of the child has been found. "The police are doing everything possible," said a spokesperson. Searches continued throughout the night and are ongoing into Thursday.
According to the police, Pavlos has an "autistic temperament" and is likely in a vulnerable situation. He was last seen at Weilburg station on Tuesday.
The police have advised that Pavlos is unable to navigate his surroundings. They recommend not speaking to him if seen, as he is very anxious, but instead to call 110 or report to a police station.
Over 600 officers have been mobilised in the search since his disappearance. A helicopter, river police, and mounted police are involved in the efforts.
Police are also collaborating with Weilburg city officials, fire services, technical assistance, and the local community.
