The outer ring road (R0) will be temporarily closed between Groenendael and the Léonard junction overnight from Thursday 27 March to Friday 28 March.

The Flemish Agency for Roads and Traffic (Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer) will install a new dynamic sign along the outer ring near the Chaussée de la Hulpe, close to the northern entrance/exit of Groenendael.

This sign will display variable messages providing real-time traffic information. It will inform drivers about travel times, congestion, accidents and roadworks, helping to enhance safety and traffic flow.

The ring road will be closed from 00:00 to 05:00. Transit traffic towards Tervuren and Zaventem will be diverted via the inner ring. Drivers travelling from Waterloo to Zaventem, for instance, will need to take a longer detour through Haut-Ittre, Hal, and Grand-Bigard. However, motorists coming from Namur via the E411 can still use the outer ring.
